The 'Gretchenfrage' is: What is a small viewport?
The answer is: A screen width below 768 pixel

When screen width below 768px:

  • Cropped 'Engine Select' and 'Account' dropdown
  • Create new filter button hided by opened nav-bar
  • First filter slightly covered by nav-bar

Depending on the length of the user and engine name, the header can still extend to multiple lines and overlapping the create filter button. I assume some verbose translations can also trigger this behavior.

I think we should close that issue (won't fix) because otherwise it will be re-opened and re-opened again althought we do not support small screens (or only very very very very very basically).

I agree with closing the ticket as soon as there are no more simple improvements for small viewports. However, the inaccessible filter button scenario can also occur on wider screens if the user uses the navbar plugin point (see screenshot). Imho we should definitely fix this, but it would be okay to create a separate ticket for it, if you prefer.

I would rather open an other ticket because we have to think about an other strategy to solve that problem (probably a dropdown).

Good enough for now
